Yes! We can accommodate wedding ceremonies in our main ballroom. The ballroom must be rented in order to host a ceremony. An additional fee allows for early access for photos.
Unfortunately, you cannot bring in your own food or alcohol outside of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, desserts, popcorn, mints and nuts. All other food and beverages must come from Scoular Ballroom’s approved caterer.
Off-street parking stalls are available for you and your guests at no additional cost. For out-of-town guests, most hotels within a five mile radius of the Scoular Ballroom offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the Scoular Ballroom.
Yes. A security guard is provided and will be on-site one hour prior to your scheduled event and will remain throughout the duration of your event until the last guest and vendor have vacated the premise.
Depending on the ballroom’s schedule, you and your vendors may be granted access to the ballroom the day before your event for set-up and deliveries. If this is not possible, we will work with you to accommodate vendor deliveries. Renters are granted weekend access through the atrium entrance during select hours. These hours will be communicated with you by the Ballroom Event Specialist.
During the months of November, January, February, and March renters receive $500 off the ballroom rental rate. Certain blackout dates apply. Please contact Scoular Ballroom’s Event Specialist to find out more information.
All events must be booked (contract signed and deposit paid) at least one month prior to the scheduled event date. We accept bookings two years in advance. We encourage renters to plan ahead, as Saturdays in the spring and summer months are at a premium.
Renters are required to obtain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from their homeowners or renters insurance at least 30 days prior to the event. Please contact Scoular Ballroom’s Event Specialist for more information.
In order to reserve your date, you must meet with Scoular Ballroom’s Ballroom Event Specialist to sign a contract and pay half of the rental deposit. Final payment, along with a damage deposit, is due ten business days prior to your event. Proof of event insurance must be provided one month prior to your event. The Scoular Ballroom only accepts checks.
